Has anyone else here had problems with a buyer on ebay with the ID of "4462emmy"? She bid on all 5 of my listings on Mar. 13 and after not hearing anything or receiving payment from her, I filed non-paying bidder claims 17 days later. The very next day she bids on all 10 of my new listings! I didn't think to block her because I thought that my filing of those non-paying bidder claims would not allow her to bid on my listings. Wrong! Laughing

But she only won 6 of those. I've noticed that a number of people have been giving her negative feedback (including myself) in an effort to warn others. I'm surprised that ebay hasn't suspended her yet.

Hi All,
Yes, we had plenty of trouble with Emmy4462. It bid on and won a marble in our recent auction lots and never paid up.

This is most likely the same seller as mjrdiamond. It was given the boot from eBay a few weeks back. They bid on many items, paid for 3 and never said a word about or paid for the other wins.
The address for these two eBay deadbeats is the same apartment building in Newark Ohio. Only a few doors apart.

Please ship to the following address:

Michael J. Reliford
XXX Washington St. Apt # 1XX
newark, OH 43055

Shipping details
Emmy Clark
XXX Washington St. Apt # 4XX
Newark OH 43055

mjrdiamond claimed on his eBay World Page that he had bone cancer. He sent us a note from his nurse- EMMY saying how incapacitated he was and would pay when his next Social Security check came in. Of course, he never paid:

I am unsure how to proceed with this non-paying bidder. In addition to the two high dollar lots that I have already filed non-paying disputes about, he has not paid for three other lots-#110227727474, #110227728782, and #110227729483.
There has been no response from him on these.
There are also three lots he did pay for, that were mailed to him.
My concerns are: our very hard to keep 100% positive feedback.
And also he is claiming bone cancer on his about me page.
He has also written one email claiming to be from his hospice nurse.
Where do we go from here? I see he just got two negatives for non-payment from some other seller.
Thanks for giving this your attention. Let me know if I should file these non-paying bidder reports, or block him as a bidder, or leave negative feedback.
Good Morning,
Chris Huffer
eBay Seller oldmarbles.com

Ebay gave no protection at all. He was bidding the next day under the EMMY4462 account.
Yes, we relisted the lots, but we too are out time and money.

I'm Annoyed,
Evil or Very Mad
Lloyd Huffer

Lloyd, I'm glad that you provided us with the information that these 2 accts. are probably related. I feel that even if Emmy is kicked off also.........by posting their names & location here, they'll re-register under a different ebay ID and maybe we can head them off before they can burn too many others. (I edited some of the details about their addresses, to be on the safe side.)

I too was reluctant to leave negative feedback for fear of retaliatory feedback that would affect my 100% positive. But if there was ever a time to give a buyer a negative, this has to be it.

I gave her opportunities to explain the delay and told her that I was a very understanding person. After weeks of no-response and her continued bidding, I realized that there is no excuse in the world for that behavior. (they're well enough to continue bidding)

Someone else told me that she told them that she was waiting on a disability check for $800 (which wouldn't begin to pay for all that she was bidding on) but she also told them that she was waiting on payment for 4 marbles that she sold (wonder what ID that was under?) That was my next point............as I told her in an email, I too have health issues but if you're well enough to buy/list, then you do whatever you can to honor your obligations. I've crawled out of bed in extreme pain..........just to get a package in the mail!

I filed non-paying bidder claims on the first 5 (waiting 7 days for the other 6) but did re-list all 11 this week. If the money order shows up later on, I'd mail it back to them. I've posted negative feedback and blocked both names on my "blocked bidder list". (I don't know if he can get re-instated, but I'm not taking any chances. Laughing)

Yep, 4 auctions not paid for. I filed non-payment claims to eBay and left 4 negative feedbacks. She/he even emailed me off eBay trying to buy more stuff after winning these auctions.

Weirdo nutjob...

Yup, you can add me to the list. I got beat out of a couple of my listings by both of those usernames. I'm sure that there is probably a third incarnation bidding on stuff that will never be paid for, even as I type this.

Oh yeah, as Chris mentioned you can put your ebay sales page link in the WWW button so that anyone can click on it at anytime to see if you've got anything for sale.

However, if anyone has a problem because the URL is too long to fit in the allotted area...................email me and I can do it for you. (I had to shorten my URL to get it to fit in there. Smile)

One more thing...................buyers also need to be on the look-out for these folks. They were selling under the man's ebay ID and I have a feeling that they'll be listing some of the ones that they did pay for.........under a new ebay ID.

I'd also be on the look-out for them at shows. James (crappie_man) sold them a couple of "I BUY MARBLES" t-shirts and since they live in Ohio, I wouldn't be surprised to hear of them being at a number of the shows coming up.

http://www.landofmarbles.com/phpbb/showthread.php?t=21805

I like how he said that all of us that he didn't pay were selling "junk". Laughing
