These are fun and right now, you can pick up some nice stuff at antique malls 'cause the Ebay values have bottomed for now. They were high dollar five years ago.

Nice stuff. I just sold about 50 sets of S&P shakers at my garage sale. I still have a few send me your address and I'll mail them to you.

Ain't that the truth about how ebay has lowered the value of so many collectibles? But on the buying side, it sure is nice! Laughing

I've been able to "thin out" or cull, if you will.........many of the "collectibles" that I've held on to for years (having inherited many of them from my mother's antique store). I've always held onto things......thinking "This might be worth alot..........or will be worth alot in the future..........so I'd better not get rid of it." However, now.......one look on ebay and you can see that there are maybe a gazillion of them that people are trying to "give away", with few or no takers! When I see this, it's going to the Goodwill and I free up space for more "junque". hehe

Kool Stuff Kris. You know I'm a pottery collector. Cookie Jars, Salt and Peppers and Go Withs. Have about 700 Cookie Jars and Tons of Shakers. Only collect the good Oldies.

I have shelves about a foot or so below ceiling level around the rooms in the house. Also regular shelves too. Don't have all the McCoy mammies. The family does. The Aqua "Got that Vitamin A" is a tuffy. My sister has about 300 Cookie Jars and my Mom has close to 1000 jars. I recently sold a Regal Majorette and a yellow Mcoy Gleep. I'll try and post a few pics later. That Brush McCoy fish is a real hard jar to find. Thanks to the bay I finally found one last year for a song. They are unmarked.
