That's an old trick, BJ. Thanks for reminding the rest of us. Please give the eBay name of that buyer so I can ban them from bidding on my lots. THIS is how to get even - tell everyone what they did.

Hey Dutch
This person has three different names. They buy under 2 and sell under pavcrez (sp).
I'll look in blocked list to see if I have the other two names

well, the buyer
(Mibs4me_1) made me an offer, i took it not knowing who they were until i got zapped with a non delivery charge back from paypal, after the charge back i noticed that he paid with id (LadyStingr@***) so i look up Ladystingr on ebay and noticed he was selling some of my marbles under this Ladystingr name, i sent paypal his auction photo with stars standing next to the mibs and also sent the photos i had pointing out the unique marks on these mibs, and that didnt seam to matter, well in the email exchange the address that he answered under was (Pavcraz),, when i seen the Pavcraz name pop up i knew then i got duked, and the box i sent was to small for the at home shipping label so i went down to the post office and sent them that way, well when u get online postage it includes the tracking info but when u take it down to the post office you have to pay the .65 cents, which i know know i should have done, 10yrs on ebay i never had one go missing so it didnt dawn on me this was going to happen. so the 3 names of the same buyer/seller are
Pavcraz
ladystingr
Mibs4me_1

and as marble Alan say "Eat Shit" Scott Birchfield of Brunswick, Maine.
your a crook and i hope everyone finds out.
buys under Mibs4me_1 and sells under LadyStingr and Pavcraz

i went back to the auction and filed a non payment on him, hope this does something

Thanks tank, ebay sent this to me after i emailed them about this thief,,bj
Dear John,

Thank you for your reply about your situation.

John, at this time, eBay is very limited in the actions we can take in situations such as this. If your buyer is claiming that they did not receive your item, and reversing the funds for this sale but are now listing and selling these same marbles, then there are a few steps that you can take.

As Jordi suggested you should contact your local law enforcement as well as law enforcement in the city of your buyer. If they are unable to assist you at this time then there still a couple other options that might assist you at this time.

If you shipped the item using the United States Postal Service, you might be able to file a mail fraud complaint. To do so, go to:

http://www.usps.com/postalinspectors/fraud/

Also I recommend you file a complaint with the National Fraud Information Center (NFIC). The NFIC compiles reports of Internet fraud and relays that information to local, state and federal law enforcement agencies.

To file a report with the NFIC, go to:
http://www.fraud.org

Finally, from your email it appears that your buyer has filed a complaint with PayPal to have the funds for this transaction returned to them. If PayPal has put your payment funds on hold and is still in the process of investigating the chargeback claim filed against you, I suggest that you contact PayPal again and continue to work with them to resolve this issue.

If the buyer's claim is approved by PayPal, and payment is reversed, please feel free to send us a copy of the PayPal payment showing the payment reversal. At that point, we can look into the matter again and take further action if needed.

Thank you for your continued efforts in this matter.

Sincerely,
Pyter

I sent everything i had to ebay, i think im going to get the same answer with the postal inspector as i did from paypal, there was no tracking number on the box,, so in the end i guess its all my fault,,,i just get more hateful when it happens to me, i know the truth and i hope nobody else has to go through this so im more than happy to put all this out there for others to learn from,,i had a simple pelt zebra go missing from desk one day and if you ever seen my desk you would probably wonder how ide miss anything because its loaded with a bunch of my favorites, well i went on the war path and found it finally it had rolled off the back side of my desk, when i find a mib i enjoy im like a magnet knowing what it looks like how the design goes and so on, when i went searching for the ladystingr name and seen the auction i immediatly seen the marbles i sold,, you guys probably remember them there was an oxblood flame a silver oxblood and that strange ringer with the yellow string very unique, he had the green snake in another auction he had but them are pretty common to compare, he knows he got me and is laughing at me as i write this probably, but hey i learned a valuable lesson and it sucks,,,, bj

wow....the ebay replies at least sound like a human being read your letters and like maybe they're taking things a little more seriously. true, they can't moderate every single dispute, so they're probably right to at least give you resources.

i wonder if others have filed complaints against this guy. you never know - yours might be the one that really gets them moving.

BJ
I just had a bad experience a few weeks ago. A customer sent me some marbles to recondition which I was happy to do. I sent the package back to the address that he gave me. All this was fine and dandy except he never received the package. I had mailed him a couple of packages before that mailing with no trouble. I am absolutely sure that he didn't get it, but it was delivered to his apartment. He lives on the 5th floor of an apartment house an now some other tenant has his marbles to sell. This wasn't a big lost to either him nor me, but the idea that we were both ripped off sure smarted. I have sent him several packages since and he has received every one. Now when I send him something I also attach a "Customer signature delivery confirmation" form. Each package has to be signed for and this cost an extra $2.30, but is well worth it. For $2.30 we lost over $200.00 worth of marbles. ----Leroy----P.S. This was my fault as I should have at least attached a Delivery Confirmation Form.
