Dog, I've rust encapsulated and repainted the rearend and leaves with chassis black, Replaced the shackle bushings, and now am working on the new trunk. This thing has a 2.76 rear end! Bet it'll do 140 on the open road!
Derrick
P.S. - Dog, the new paint will be the new Dodge GoMango with flat black hood and cowl. |

No they don't. I had to cut out 2 large areas in my trunk. Then I got a donor '66 and cut the atch panels out of it, trimmed 'em to fit my cutouts and welded them in. Lots more work then it sounds. And cutting out spot welds gets old fast! I will keep you (and everyone) posted. Lots of work ahead yet.

Cool Ride Catfish!
It makes me want to go to a drive-in movie- And Not Alone.
I am a little jealous of your garage- we could use some extra space for our project cars. Your cement floor looks particularly desirable. Several of our winter storage spots are in a 150 year old barn.
We got about 5" of snow yesterday. That brings out the plows & salt spreaders and puts the cars in the barn. We will be running pick-up trucks until spring.
I'm Hip,

Thanks Lloyd, the garage is great. We just built it last year. We too just got snow. Only a skiff for us though. |

In 1974 I had a 1972 Sateliite Sebring Plus with a police 400 special in it. red with a white landau top and white interior. Hurst 4-speed. It would absolutely scream and kick ass on most anything on the road. While I was in the Navy my parents sold it in 1975 to a friends' son who was in high school. He blew the tranny in a week and my parent kicked back $500 cause they felt sorry for him. I am still looking for it.... _________________ Still on the right side of the grass!!! |
