I meant to do this way earlier and plain forgot. Put me in the corner if you must. My first post about these marbles described them as a bowl full of 7/8's Vitro cat-eyes with adventurine. I was looking on another site that had identical (almost I think) 5/8's, same colors with adventurine. It was suggested that these were more likely Marble Kings.
So...with these better photos, is it still conceivable that they are Vitro's instead of Marble King? There is no big deal for me in the identity. These mibs have so much adventurine dusted onto the four veins, and there is a slight feathering or shredding effect between two of the veins on every one of these marbles. Also, are these considered jello-vein cats?
I am trying to follow up on everything I start here, so bear with me, please. Until I can afford to purchase the needed literature and pricing books with all the nice pictures, I am hoping to learn from the forum members.
Take a look at these, and yes, there are a lot of photos, but I still don't know what is an adaquate number of pictures to id a marble.
I really was hoping the amount of adventurine would show up...it is on all of the veins. Really great stuff in the sunlight.
