Just an FYI............I have had to disable the "signature" option because the spam-bots registering here are using it to promote their porn/malware/viruses/etc.

So a cautionary word of advice here.........if you are looking at someone's profile and they have a "strange" sounding name, have "0" posts and/or are from a foreign land or their "interests" seem to be everything but marbles...........DO NOT CLICK on any of their links or websites, etc. It's possible that it might be something that could damage or infect your computer.

I am having to manually go in and delete these "members" but it is taking some time. They have not ever been activated so they can not post......but their only purpose is to be on here and other forums, in hopes that someone will click on their links or web sites.

Just changed it back to allow signatures. I realized that unless I activated the spammer, they aren't able to post anything. With that being the case, no one will see their "signature" with click-able links/URLs that could cause any of us to be exposed to viruses, malware, etc.

So for those of you that want to add a signature to your profile, go to the "profile" icon at the top of the page and you can add it there. Links to your ebay auctions, your website, facebook page, etc. can be added there, if you like. Or you might want to add your "real name" there (as I have "Lizzy" in mine), so that folks won't have to address you as, (i.e.) "Glass_Balls_Rock". hehe

That way, if you post something.................you will benefit from the "free advertising". Of course, it should go without saying that you can not post a link to anything offensive, pornographic, etc. Not that any of you would, right? Wink
