I posted this one several years ago (on a couple of boards).................asking for help with ID. A number of people thought Christensen Bloodie...........but I don't think it is.
I still don't know..........but have thought either Alley or Ravenswood. Another thing..........it's slightly egg-shaped (I've read that many Alleys are out-of-round) plus it has some flame-like attributes.......so I'm leaning towards Alley. It's over 3/4" at 19.75 mm.
Galen thought that it looked Alley and I think so also. Any new or different ideas now?

Let me run this up the flagpole and see if anyone salutes.
While the color combination doesn't match up, the construction is VERY similar to the Champion Special Run Furnace Swirls.

Champion was my first thought - but I don't have much confidence in any of my swirl id's. ... Roger |

Too bold for a Champion Furnace Scraping marble and I think we've seen all the possible variations and close calls so far. I can rule out Ravenswood. My bet is Alley. David |

Hi Doc, good to see you here. The white is more of an "off-white" and doesn't fluoresce. The pics are old and the quality is not very good. _________________ Lizzy

Does the marble have a transparent brown, or is it just a different shade of red when the transparent red is on top of the off-white? ... Roger |
