Hi Everyone
I acquired this about 10 or so years ago, didn't know what it was at the time, but have since found out it is a cigarette dispenser.
It is very heavy, about 15 inches tall, plays Mozart, and is very precisioned in the mechanism of the movements. It completely opens up and then folds back into itself, if that makes sense.
Just thought I would share it with you all, I have never seen another one like it, although people have told me they have.

Hi Chris, and all who commented,
I'm not real sure what it is made of, it's not glass, and definately not Jade, lol, and found out it's not bakelite. It has "made in Italy" on the bottom of it, or did I say that already.
I had seen it at a friend of a friends house and wanted it, but he was selling other things, but not it at the time. about 4 years later the friend came over with it, and said his friend said to give it to me. So, the price was right lol.
I have tried to investigate it on the net, but haven't came up with a whole lot??
Ty all for the nice comments on it.

Hi Marlene!
Check this out! It's similar in design to yours (or should I say concept?).
