I've been collecting elephants for quite some time now.....they have always intrigued me...The belief that they mate for life, was found to be untrue, but they do form families, headed by the oldest female, they have cousins aunts, brothers sisters and so forth.
There was recently an article on the net about a baby elephant that lived close to an expressway, that trucks traveled on mainly. And it said the elephant was mimicking sounds made by the trucks...I looked for the article, but??

Neat Elephants! I have quite a few Elephants because they occur so often in pottery. _________________ Road Dog |

I love elephants and collect them as well!
As a matter of fact, I had a Lladro elephant on top of my wedding cake! My husband had it signed and used it to propose!
Sorry about the size!
I don't have any other pictures of my other elephants, I will have to take some! _________________ Maggie |
