Greetings y'all. I hope your Holidays were all you wished for, and that your New Year already does and will bring many blessings to your lives.
I have been away to the beautiful desert of Arizona, and while I found no marbles out in the wild..found a lot of great rocks, geode crystal clusters and jasper. Please let me know if any of you like rocks also, and might want some gorgeous ones. I love to share.
My question for the chat: Is anyone wiling to put forth an opinion as to the maker of either or both of these marbles?

The first ones (in blury pics) colors seem rather unique to me..and the superman? seems to have a too random too different pattern, to be a Pelt. So maybe is newer?
Thank you so much for your consideration.

Hi Catherine!
Well........you sure picked some interesting listings to ask about.
The first one..........well, it's kind of hard to tell from these pics.........but it looks kind of torch-made (contemporary) from here. But the seller does also have some genuine vintage marbles listed..........so?????
This one, however is not a Pelt Superman........nor is it vintage. It looks like a contemporary hand-made although it's still kind of funky looking (hehe).........maybe it's been polished?
Hopefully someone else will chime in with their opinions. _________________ Lizzy

i'm curious about why the photos are so different. how could a seller be satisfied with that blurry shot of a marble that should be worth lots of money? i'd worry about the marble for that reason.
the "superman" is definitely torch-made. looks like someone was trying to 'draw' ribbons on with the colored rods. very hard to control that way, and results in blobs and areas of widening/narrowing color. _________________ Chris

If Galen said that he would bid on the first one (if not for the pinpricks), then I'll have to say that it must be a vintage/antique marble and not a contemporary.
Galen, just to satisfy my curiosity............what do you think it is? _________________ Lizzy

Could be B.J., or if it's salmon colored, they are harder to find.
