well Jan and I went out sailing again today . Found a few nice items . the total spent for every thing was only $25.00 . So the first was a 7/8 yellow lat nice shape just a little fat in the middle but no damage .This started the day at a whole $3.00 .
..
..
.
Then a few casters nice florescent green . another $1.00 each
.
.
they the blue Akro pot was not going to let it go even I have a few as it seamed to be at the dollar store .
..
..
..
Now the best I always check out little boxes . this one was loaded with slags and 4 moonies . two are 1 inch , I think they should be ok but are now soaking will see how every thing looks tomorrow. I put in some pics of the box all full of mouse bite holes , now this is for sure found in the wild.
..

..
..
..
..
..
..
..
these were where the high dollar came in at $20.00
.. I just put the box in the trash .
..
..
..
on the way out I saw a gum ball with stand just missing the globe but I have a extra glass globe so even though Jan says no more I must have about 10 all ready but at $2.00 I had to carry it out as we were ending the walk , and I could shake it and it still had some money in it .
..
..
..
..
well I am now enjoying the soaking time and will see the condition tomorrow if I get some down time . Mike

Good hunting, Mike.
The best (and quickest) way to clean glass is with muriatic acid, available at hardware stores.
It takes only minutes, but be careful - it's very caustic.

Hi Dutch I used to use muriatic acid to clean quarry tile floor . I think that would be the same as toilet bowl cleaner as this is about only 15% acid. I just like the washing and the time it takes as that just helps with the addiction a little longer . Remember the board that was called " marble addicts " well it is true . There all washed now just the grandsons had a sleep over last night so I will get more pics later .
Does any one know what a blue lace looks like ?? is that a slag type ? The one Christensen aqua that was in the bunch ??
And Chris there are not a lot of marble related that I throw but since the little mouse bites this had to go , Yes it was a fun day , I missed a polished 1 3/4 onion skin it was ground flat on one side so it would be more like a paper weight but it was one that had another onion inside and it showed very good that way . A friend was telling me about it and when I said I will get right over there he went and bought it o well will try and get a picture of it . Will post more pics later . Mike |

well they are all washed and put away for life . even got some Akro monnies and 3/4 in size , not as wild as a Christensen but will do .
The aqua blue slag is a Christensen with two cut lines ?? OR a ??
here are some pics , the red peltier patch has a neat drip . the two black are all loaded with the famous blow outs .

WOW! Nice 'uns!
I'd go with CA on the aqua slag with 2 cut-lines/seams. _________________ Lizzy
