WOW! I had no idea that they would go that high! I've seen the majority of 8 Fingers that Block has sold, go for about $20-$40. However, there was this one with variegated ribbon colors that sold for $240!

Good question Terry. I've had this purple and white one rolling around my desk for months for no other reason than I thought it was odd and cool looking. The eighth ribbon is hard to see because two of them are close together. Was Vitro the only one who made 8 vaners?

Terry's looks like a possibility but probably not? Browndog's is not. Those styles were made by Vitro although you can find other 8 vane cat's-eyes made by foreign makers. They do not normally look like the Vitro 8 fingers, though. As for prices, it must be Alan's rep. Looks like it is time to buy up the 8 fingers at $40 and send them to Alan to sell - good investment opportunity!!! |

I think that it's the transparent colored based ones that sell for the most (unless the vanes are multi-colored in a clear base). _________________ Lizzy

Oh crap, now back to the cat jars again lol. I have lots of the 8 vane ones that look like that but probably not vitro eight fingers. I have to look and I'll post some pics probably tomorrow. Now I'm all excited lol. I also have 2 like Browndogs, one with more purple and one with more white. They are way cool!
