being few in numbers, mayhaps they were made when vitro was switching colors between runs of opaque blackies and clear catseyes, thus a transitional type marble consisting of traits from both colors/styles.
vitro transitionals if you will?

Odd you should suggest such a thing Buddy. These actually have horseshoe cats inside them. I tore the pack open and checked 'em out. Saw they had catseyes for guts and chucked 'em in the trash.....I don't collect cats. |

be careful there...some people have been known to transition into cats-eye lovers without them even realizing it. no really, it's true! |

Pink is so hard to capture in a pic. Dead on Sweet Pea colours, but on a clear base. I was fooled on an ebay auction grouping and was a little miffed at the time. 5 years later and I have never seen anything like it so I'm not so miffed anymore.

orbboy, that one is a killa fer sure... the colors and condition blow me away..beautiful mib
here's a clear based one I got from Willie's "dig at your own risk" huge box at the Texas show.
when I picked it up and looked at it,, I was thinking along Galen's lines...shouldnt this have an opaque base?
not the best of shape but you get the idea

Derrick, Here I thought you were my friend. Chucked them Huh. Just like I chuck all my corks and CAC's. They just could not get along with My Cats.
That's it I am taking all my Cats and going home. OH wait I am home. Forgot for a minute where I was at.

Thanks Buddy. It is a pretty cool mib. Here is another odd one. About 70% clear base. There is a bit of white on the back of the brown. Crappy pic but I blew a light and have been to busy to go get another one.
