GOOD MORNING ALL,
it had been a while and i had almost forgotten what it felt like to get a bad deal from a novice or just plain unscrupulous seller off of feebay.i took a chance with the seller { juanitas littlebluedonkey} and it happened again.the auction read quote: ( Condition is good- due to several pinhead chips, sparkles, and some surface scuffing).i get the marble and it has 2 large chips 1 small chip and i counted over 50 hit marks.to make a long story short she did refund some of the money but i end up losing $6.84 .what i don't understand why is it we as collectors end up losing money at no fault of our own??its not a lot of money but when your on SSDI every penny counts!!

That sucks Douglas! However, when I see a marble listed as good minus...I run the other way. Good is a term used to describe a marble that is in worse condition than near mint. Good means flakes, etc. Having said that though, the seller should have errored on the side of caution and stated all damage. Never rely on an uneducated sellers grading scale. Sorry you got burned, but thankfully it wasn't super high dollar!

For sure expect any marble listed as good to be in wrecked condition. Save your money and buy marbles in mint condition. They usually will hold their value and are much more pleasurable to look at. IMHO. Peace,Galen _________________ CACs please. Peace,Galen |
