Lizzy, it is a little larger than 5/8ths.
Chris, yes the colors are exact to the marble.
I'm gonna get lambasted for this but it sure looks like the one in the book...lol.

Respectfully - it is very different than the second plate, Pg. 100 in MM. That (book) marble is always 1" or 7/8" diameter and has a translucent base that light passes through easily. The colors are also quite different. |

I gotta echo Alan's sentiments here. Especially at the 5/8" size, I don't feel Akro. Like BJ...... the other possibility that I'd considered is MK. _________________ Lizzy

I am so well aware you cannot id a marble from a picture in a book, which is what I was attempting to do.
And, I should have been more specific when i said the marble was a "little " over 5/8, it is closer to 7/8 than 5/8, but not over 7/8.
when i took it out again, there is a mrble right beside it that sort of resembles it, so, now I'm more confused than before
the following is the one I asked the question about, with a picture from the book attached to it When Alan said the colors are quite different...I couldn't understand because the colors are the main thing I was going by, and they are almost identical from my marble and the book picture.
this is the one that was right next to it?? and it is a definate 5/8...and I think it is Master??
