lizzy, i was disappointed with some of the pictures, the last one in particular, because i couldn't show how beautiful some of these are in hand.
for example, the 4th row of that last group....
#1 is an oxblood muddy
#2 is a caramel with purple tinting
#3 is an opalescent with awesome feathering
#4 has a gorgeous golden fire bubbling inside
#5 is a NLR/rainbo "hybrid" (so to speak) with gorgeous transparent emerald ribbons.
anyway.......thanks for the nice comments
. i might try some of these again some time with some indoor lamps. it's hard to see the viewfinder in such bright sunlight.

Most definitely sweet! Your pics are great................looks like you had the sun coming in and it really shows off the beauty of Pelt's glass, bubbles, color etc. in their 'humble' Rainbos.

And looks like one I backfilled with almost same selection. I like these cubes - have one in green and a couple in shades of browns.

Post subject: Dusty apt. for me = eye candy for you :o)
i shoulda been spring-cleaning today, but the sun is shining and i told RAR i needed to get some better pictures of my Big Value Box, so what do you think won out?!
i bought this at a kokomo show from les jones. he had gotten a carton of these from someone, but they'd been through a flood, so only the boxes in the center were undamaged. he told me he'd taken all the marbles out of the other boxes and sold them unpackaged.
i sure wish i'd gotten a chance to dig through those, because these boxes seemed to be filled with some of the oldest, prettiest rainbos peltier made. hardly any white to be seen, except in the sunsets and a couple ribbons here & there. lots of opalescent and muddy-type glass, and a small handful of nlr-ish looking ones (maybe "missing links"?
)
anyway, i'm not going to cry about what i missed, because this box is something i'll treasure for a long time to come! hope you guys like seeing what's inside...
i need to get some close-ups of these, but here are some of the extra-nice ones in the box:
