Patry is very much missed right up to today. Last week I was corresponding(email) with her daughter Heather as Heather contacted me about her intentions to finally tackle Patry's collection; she considers it a blessing to treat the collection with the respect it deserves.
Patry exemplified everything good that we could hope for in a person involved in the world of marbles. She was a very special person. David

I read this sad news with tears in my eyes. Patry was a sweetheart and one of the "ambassadors" that made me feel welcome when I first joined the online marble forums. Over the years we've exchanged emails about marbles, things of beauty and health issues. In her last email she sounded hopeful that her new meds would work...... so it was a shock to hear that she is no longer in this physical realm.
Being an artist, Patry saw beauty everywhere she looked. The next 3 photos are some that she'd taken around her home.
"Blue Shadow"
"Ice Snow Angel"
"Bird Snow Angel"
I'll always think of her now when I see "Winter Angels".
May you rest in peace, Patry.

This is really sad. She always had a helpful manner and a kind way about her. I was lucky enough to purchase one of her marble prints last year. She really had talent, in so many ways. I'm sure God will be putting her to work soon. God Bless You Patry

Damn. Sad news. The marble community lost a big member (and collector).
God bless her.

I am so deeply saddened by this. She will be terribly missed. Her passing leaves a big emptiness in many many hearts, I know.

She will be greatly missed. I just got off the phone with David Chamberlain a little while ago after I got home. He is working on some type of marble related memorial for her. Elizabeth has the funeral information on the Marble Mental Board and she will keep that updated. I'm sure all the boards will have it soon. Patry was a joy when it came to sharing marble informationand pictures. I met her years ago at a SeaTac Show and we kept in touch perioidcally throughout the years. It was sad that her MS kept her from going to shows the last several years. I know she enjoyed reading the marble show reports on the various boards.
