Many cullet marbles are spectacular and very rarely resemble a machinemade marble. I have even gotten a few from China. (they call them Cherry Quartz) |

While there are some who evidently find this type of reworked marble appealing I consider it an aberration of the highest sort and a slap in the face to naturally created machine-made marbles. I suppose seeing one (or more) being offed in this fashion adds to my consternation. I know there's a place for reworked or polished marbles but this sucks. David |

My first thoughts while reading this thread was that it looked like an Akro Imperial. I think it and the others are cullet. Even with my greenishness (sic), I would agree on cullet. No arguement that it is polished. Even to me that much is obvious.
I am starting to really like cullet marbles, even though this is the first place I have even seen or heard of them. |

Ok, I get it now..............Richard Buell makes marbles by grinding them out of cullet.

Half the marbles he currently has listed look polished to me. Several are ground down worse than the cullet. Peace,Galen |

So, has anyone who's a regular with eBay reported this bogus marble and this particular individuals modus operandi? Seems as though he's been at it long enough to elevate it to criminal status. David Chamberlain |

I wish Lily's mom could have read those before she bid... or paid and left feedback. |
