Yeah, we need an update on that joker! Laughing I looked at his myspace page and he hasn't logged on there since last Nov. He's probably got a new identity and myspace page. hehe

Here's a link to the Australian marble sellers on ebay. Does anyone recognize the location or style of listings?

Tome, I know that you are an honest fella and just want to try and "do the right thing"...........but like Chris says, I don't think that it would be any big deal for you just to keep the ones that weren't yours to start with. As it is............there are probably others that ended up with some of yours and if everyone else tried to return all their *unknowns* back to the original rightful owners, it could be a lot more trouble than its worth.

I'd venture to say that nobody sent "It" anything that was immeasurably valuable, i.e., Golden Rebels, etc., so they probably will be okay with leaving things as they are.

Don't even worry about it any longer, I say! Relax and get back to enjoying this fun hobby!! Wink Don't let "them" take any more time that you could be enjoying yourself with than they already have! They'll get theirs one day......either here on this earth or in their next lives. Very Happy

I just dont know, i guess lets wait if anyone claims any for the next few weeks, I have put them aside until then, also I did get back the 2 best ones I sent him and a couple of stands, and as for the others (apprx: 15) they must had been mixed in with his others, he returned a bunch of marbles more probably to make up for mine that went lost or he just felt bad and wanted to try and bribe me? who knows, why me.

if you're missing some of the ones you sent and you can't find who the extras belong to after you all compare notes, why don't you just keep them and call it a wash?

no sense in making the drama any bigger than it already was (that's just me though...) but seriously, it's not like any puppies were murdered or children had to go hungry. what's done is done.

besides, i'd wager that the ones that were swapped were done on purpose anyway. i mean, who gets a bunch of marbles in the mail and immediately dumps them in a pile with other marbles? the gift marbles arrived at different times, so i would be surprised if the "mix up" was an accident. that loser probably kept the best ones and sent back lesser ones in their place.

Thanks Kris,

I would like to add to my last post, the marbles that dont get claimed say within a month I will auction off on one of the marble forums (not sure which yet) and all the proceeds will go to charity (I think the Red-Cross), its just an idea I have and I am not sure if this is allowable?, I would need to look into that idea, and maybe some feedback from other members would be good.

G'day Everyone,

I recieved a package today with no return address, and inside was most of my items that I had sent that person (who ever he is), but the ones that are missing have been replaced with other marbles that dont belong to me, so if any member here or on the other forums had sent marbles to this guy please tell me what you sent him with a description of the marbles you sent him and if I can identify them with these I shall send them back to there true owners, please PM me for info.

ps.. John (or who ever you are?) I want to say one last thing. You are dispicable! and a very greedy man, and you have hurt alot of people, I really feel that you are very very sorry "now" for what you have done (due to making an effort to returning some marbles, but that could only because you got "caught") and the damage is done now and it cannot be undone. I hope you get proffesional help because there are other ways of making a living without being a conman and praying on the generousity and kindness of peoples hearts, and I will never understand how you ever expected to get away with it.

Tome.
