Gosh, you have gone over and beyond (?) in helping me. Thank you!
You are absolutely right about the vane structure. I need to settle in a little and take a deep breath before hitting that submit button. _________________ Don't Tread On Me |

Hey, I may be wrong about those gorgeous cats being MK and they may very well be Vitro as you thought. So don't be gun-shy about posting what you think that they might be and why. That's how we all started!
Heck, even the ones with mega-years of experience still need help or will get it wrong sometimes. That's what we like to do here though............is look at pics of marbles of all kinds and then talk about 'em!
I promise............nobody will laugh at you or make fun of you here if you get it wrong................or we'll lash 'em with a wet noodle! _________________ Lizzy

Doogle,
There is one hellaciously long thread at Marble Mental where everyone and his brother/sister submitted cat's-eyes. Joe Bob says, "Check it out!" And also at Marble Mental I posted a series of 87 cat's-eye photographs with descriptions that you might want to wade through when you have the time. It is under the title of CAT'S-EYE SERIES and was posted in 8 or 9 installments so you have to go back in the pages to get it all. It's a good starter for a beginner and sort of fun I think. David |
