This red and yellow corkscrew (Akro, I presume, but from which site?) has a thin, brite florescent orange strip that is sandwiched between the two colors of glass. Is this actually a reaction, or is it the uv light casting a shadow through the edge of the upper layer of glass onto the bottom edge of the base glass or vice versa? That is a hard question to figure out how to parse, so I apologize in advance. I am mentioning this because I have noticed that some dark red glass streams will back-light onto a lighter color base. I don't know if this is an illustion or what. Oh yeah, 5/8"s again.

Akro only made corks at one place.

This presents an interesting conundrum re. # of colors in a marble. For example, there's an Akro corkscrew that is predominately yellow opaque with a crevice of real rich blue but if you turn it just right the yellow and blue morph into green. Now is this a two color marble or a three color one. I'd go with 3 colors just because it's so cool! Now selling it as a three color marble might be a different matter; you'd have to be convincing!
