I surrounded that large Vitro with the rest of the similar marbles in that particular bunch from Ebay. I think they are Vitros and Peltier's? And possibly other makers? I am not sure which is which yet...still learning!

Peltier multi-colors are at 12:00, 3:00, 4:30, and 10:30.
Vitros are at 1:30 and 5:30.
not sure about the one at 6:00 or 9:00...would need more pics of those two.
nice group! _________________ aventurine happens,

I agree with Paula except for the one at 4:30...need more pics of it, might be peltier. 9:00 is definitely peltier and 6:00 probably is too. The one at 7:30 is vitro. JMO

oh crap! i meant:
Vitros are at 1:30 and 7:30 (not 5:30).
Bob is right--the one at 9:00 is probably Pelt. The one at at 6:00 could be Pelt, too (can't tell if it has blue edging the white).
That Vitro at 7:30 is a "Superior" (a collector name) for a type of Vitro Tri-Lite. _________________ aventurine happens,

I'd go Peltier at 6PM and 9PM and pretty much agree with all the other Ids. David |

What's a Bulls-Eye? I am obviously not up on the latest names or did I miss out on this one all the way along! David |

From what I understand a Vitro Bullseye to be: A color patch on the top pole, an opaque white patch on the bottom, and a single ribbon encircling the equator that are each a different color. That is why I called this a Tri-lite instead of a Bullseye. There seems to be 1 too many colored ribbons on one side. That is a very basic understanding, I there is a great chance that I am completely wrong. There are 57 different combo's. Joe's Marbles has a couple new articles on this very topic. _________________ Don't Tread On Me |

So much to read so little time! I've generally used synonimously (sp?) Tri-Color and Multi-Color. Never really figured out if it was O.K. By the way, I'll be providing some more articles to Joe's website. At least that's what I promised him. David |
