Okay, this is a lot larger at 15/16". No obvious crease or seams anywhere and has the opaque white base and orange/yellow translucent swirling. Would the loop qualify as a turkey fold? I am guessing Christensen Agate Co.

Hard to tell but it looks like there may be peltier possibilities. The boulder size often get messed up and they become harder to ID from pics. Most folks believe Champion never made or marketed marbles over 3/4 of an inch. And made very few that large. Peace,Galen _________________ Peace,Galen |

I'd say not a chance it's Christensen. The odds alone are against it because of the size. Champion is the same case size-wise. For a fact the normally perceived characteristics of a swirl marble in the 9/16" to 3/4" range and especially with opaque ones is often lost when you get up around 15/16" and 1". I don't even like that size in a machine-made marble. I guess I'm just a 5/8" traditionalist although these Jabo marbles in the past couple years have caused me to revise my prejudices. 3/4" ain't that bad! David |
