Hi Derrick,i find them at flea markets-collectors fairs and we have a local internet auction here and ebay.
It's not easy here to find marbles because it's not a collectors item here, people here are interested in lots of antique stuff but not in marbles, exept a few who are interested in hand-mades.
If i buy marbles here from somebody they look at me if i'm a bit crazy LOL and they asked me what i'll do with them.

Hey! When they ask you what you do with the marbles which is really sort of lame for someone maybe already into collectibles(I wouldn't fault someone who is just selling their 'junk') just tell them, "Well, you take marble and insert in nose!" I'd love to have the medical statistics on nose marble extractions! David |

Now that is a great piece of glass! I could spend hours just looking into that marble with my magnifying glass. Very subtle patterns and that little bit of light blue and light green really kick it up a few notches, at least for me! I do like the really bright ones, don't get me wrong, but marbles like yours really have to be made like a work of art, or it would just look like a hunk of cullet glass on the floor. Maybe this is why I am partial to those Akro bursts.... _________________ Don't Tread On Me |
