Hard to fathom the vehemence of your calligraphy comments Galen but then you're probably just attempting to create controversy,
Actually years ago I specifically referred to certain Alox types as exhibiting the same calligraphic characteristic. And Ric I consider your previous Post right on. Thanks.

I am seriously considering quitting the Boards entirely as they have gone viral with Galen and Scott Patrick. And the both of them seem to draw on the lowest common denominator for adherents.

Also yesterday I rec'd three distasteful 'private messages' via this Board from Galen challenging me specifically to join him in the slander of my good friend Steve Sturtz. I have reported this lack of decorum to Lizzy but not rec'd a response as of this morning. David Chamberlain

P.S. By the way Ric, and I should have mentioned it, while I see differences between your marble examples in this Post and my blue and orange marble I do believe that your examples are calligraphy marbles.

Also, this morning (Wed. 11/4) I continue to receive unpleasant 'Private Messages' from Galen Wilcox in which he invokes the sanctity of the Board that he is protecting and prefers to hide behind the scenes with his Private Messages and request that I take this matter to a separate forum where the light of day and truth are shadowed. The man is duplicitous.

This will be my last post at Marvelous Mibs. I refuse to participate in this forum while Galen Wilcox reigns. DAVID CHAMBERLAIN

David I asked a simple question on the calligraphy types, lighten up please, and don't bring personal stuff to the board. Lets keep it to marbles!!!!, In responce (this should be moved to the LOUNGE)Lizzy was copied every PM I sent you. None where mean; slandering or in bad taste. I am just seeing if you might be able to help a friend of mine(Jack Rogers). I provided you his phone number long ago and you have refused to call him. Thats OK but please do not insinuate anything he has said is not true untill you talk to him. Relying on second hand information and calling someone a liar with out knowing both sides of the story shows a very narrowminded person. We were having a great discussion on marbles, why ruin it?????????
