As you can see, I am concentrating on Pelts at the moment as they seem to be the diagnostically easiest for me at this point. I had intended to have only Sunsets in this group, but when I starting placing them next to each other, obvious problems arose. I can tell the Pelts very easily by the clearness and the bubbles, but there are some in this group that I at first wanted to call Bloodies...until I started looking at the patches of translucent white or translucent clear with veins of white in them. The all yellow marble doesn't have a single bubble in it, but it has the patch and ribbon ribbon of the other Sunsets. The green marbles have Sunset attributes but, well, they are green. And then I have the one on the bottom that is just a blending of all the color types for a sunset without any clearcut ribbons or patches. So...I am still working at it! Less than half of these are comfortable for me to call Sunsets...the others will have to wait...

I've a set of a doz.(I think) different colored Sunsets and I'm of a mind that bubbles are a requirement but that's from a childhood(1940s) take on the marbles. Other than that I've really never made great distinctions about the ribbon arrangement. And the books do not clearly define for me distinctions. They are clearly a transparent Rainbo type as opposed to being translucent if that helps any. David
