Struck me as different. Orange banding with outer ribbons of pink and light blue.

I have to think I would have had a great Handmade collection by now. All gone in the quest for more Corks though.
This one is a little girlie colour wise. Go ahead and call me a girl if you want. Cuse I like it.

I'm not seeing pink as being an intentional color in handmade marbles? A blend of red or purple and white maybe. Marketing a marble for girls at that time?

i don't think there was a lot of unintentional - or accidental - blending in handmades. rods were 'stuck on' and that's where they stayed. in order for the colors to mix, you'd seriously mess up the pattern.

as a parlor game, i can see them being made for 'ladies of leisure'.

i like those girly ones too!
