These 3 marbles are dug marbles from Germany,I got them in a group of handmades.
Although I haven't seen CAC S/O in hand,it's my understanding that these mibs look a bit like CAC,is that true?
If I remember well someone posted this German ones here some time ago.

Oh wow, those are nice...............and very interesting. Any chance of posting some other views? I would LOVE to see more.
I'll try to see if I can find the post that you are talking about.............seems like maybe Roger or Galen had something similar. _________________ Lizzy

They have a lot of damage on one side, you don't want to see it.
It's more out of an historical point of view that i've posted them.
If I look at them,i think they are maybe one of the earliest striped-opaques.
I have more S/O's ,and they have been made much more rough.
They are 9/16.

Rich, The color striping on this type is usually a very thin layer on the surface. They probably wouldn't take well to the torch. _________________ Peace,Galen |

I've seen colors real near the surface before but haven't touched one at the torch before. Thanks for the info - I'll leave any I get alone now that have color too close to the surface. |
