Isn't it a good idea to make 2 special sections on this forum: one for handmades and one for machine mades? I only collect handmades and I'd really like to see a special forum where I could discuss handmades with fellow handmade collectors. I'm looking forward to hearing your reactions! I'm even developing a little interest in contemporaries, largely due to reading posts about them. But I think there might be problems in separating into marble types. There are some marbles for which there is not a clear categorization into handmade or machinemade. If we counted transitionals as machinemade (which makes no sense), there are still things like handmade slags. I don't see how the division could be made to everyone's satisfaction. ... There is a board called glass addiction for the contemps. I like the antique hand mades and machine mades all located in the same place. I don't collect the hand made antiques, but I like to look at them and learn.
