I've had a couple of people email and ask me if they could invite "so and so" to join.

I thought that it might be good for me to clarify that this isn't an "invitation only" board. Wink

As everyone here knows, this board was formed because "our favorite, internet marbles hang-out(s)" were no longer enjoyable..... mainly due to the disruptive presence of a prolific poster. (I didn't say it was the only reason. hehe) We wanted to continue to enjoy the friendships that had been formed, along with our common interests, without all that "NOISE", so we tuned out and came over here!

As long as you're about fostering a "stress-free", fun place to enjoy and discuss marbles/glass, then you're wanted here! Other discussions should take place in "The Lounge". I'm working on a Mission Statement/Guidelines type thing that should help make things clear for any newcomers.

So, if you haven't received an "invitation", don't take it to mean that you're not invited............because most of you are. (There are a few exceptions..........and I'm sure you know who you are. Laughing

) We want both "old blood and new blood".

If I didn't have your email address, then I didn't want to message you through the other board's messaging system because I thought that it might be rude.
