I've just never seen this color combo before.
Has anyone else ???? I've had this for about 5 months
and finally get to post it ! The pics are "true color".
It's not white baseglass. Kinda " Tan " I guess.

Hey Rick, Heres a 3/4" red Pelt similar in coloring with aventurine......I think yours is a NLR with its rainbo cousin located here at this post over on the LOM board (however I cant tell if teach101's sample has the tanish base)............

RAR, that's old glass (meaning old in the pelt timeline) you can see/feel the texture of the glass, and the creases where the colors meet up, almost like puzzle pieces.
that's a special marble, imo! |

Rick,
I love that old glass too. Why not call it a Miller and place it in with the very early examples, imho?

Although I can't call myself a "Pelthead", hehe...........I haven't seen quite that color combination yet either. Very nice! I love it when the ribbons are slightly under the opalescent-type baseglass and all the texture/wrinkles/creases. Kind of simple but elegant looking~ |

sami, that occurred to me too, but you can't call it a miller because there are clear ribbons on it. it's just folded.
even if there were such a thing as a 'true' miller, it would be a swirl. |
