This marble has green bands on the clear base. The bands are right on the surface, uncased. It looks more like a Joseph Coat than anything else, and it would be if the bands were cased. I'm tempted to call it a "clear clambroth", because it would be a clambroth if it was opaque. I guess its a "banded clear", or a "360 transparent indian", but quite unusual just the same (23/32"). ... Roger

Looks like a new category there, maybe a "wide-banded gooseberry"? A clear base no less? |

It's all good... my second guess would be "wide banded non-caged (close though) banded transparent. |

Would that fall into the Submarine catagory ????
My Hand-Made I.D. knowledge is very limited (easy now)
But isn't a Sub a Handmade that has a Transparent/Coreless Matrix
with Panels and Bands on the surface ???
