Does this site shrink pics? Cuse the pic that is showing is way smaller that the pics I took and thought were going up. |

Doesn't look like a cullet marble to me. Very unusual Blue Oxblood though. All of the ones that I've seen are on an Ace-type base. I wonder if could be an end of run of the Oxblood Spiral types (with clear bases) and the beginning of another type that had blue.
As for the size of the pics............no, this forum won't reduce them. But I checked your photobucket acct. and that's the size showing up as 100%. Maybe you accidentally re-sized them within your photobucket acct.?
EDIT: Looked at the pics again.........and can see some "Ace" base, along with clear. So my next theory is slightly different. hehe Maybe it's just an end of run Blue Oxblood meeting the beginning of another run with a clear base. |

Ok looks like a photobucket thing. I wanted to show the surface of this one. Reconditioned for sure. It was lost in the shrinkage. Did I mention the size of 13/16" hehe. Did Blue Oxes come that big?

OK, now I see the surface. Hmmmmm.........this one is strange. hehe I remember that Zaboo mentioned someone that was "adding" oxblood to Akros. Wonder if this could be one of those and they just never finished reconditioning the surface?
I know that my brother has had at least a couple of 3/4" Blue Oxes..........so I don't think that the size is an indicator of anything. |
