I'm trying. I emailed him last night and invited him. I know he worked yesterday and may not read it until today. Hope he joins in. Edna |

sissydear! Please keep posting pics! I got my vitro's out. I think I found two sweet peas. Maybe 2 of the last marbles under Vitro's name! And I think a few yellow jackets! It really helps to see five of the same. Because they are not exactly the same! Thanks so much! So practice and practice on posting! LOL, Windy _________________ Always Looking For Marbles!

Thanks for the pics Edna! I'm a Vitro collector and I've saved all your pics for future reference. I hope you don't mind but they are just awesome and way better that pics in books!

Rhonda, I have a lot of tiger eyes. There are so many color combinations. I'm working on another project right now or I would do pics of some tigereyes for you. Back in the mid 90's when I started collecting vitro, the men collectors laughed at me. But, when they found some vitro they saved it for me. I'll bet they are not laughing now. I even had one say to me "when I write my book on vitro, can I take pics of your marbles?" LOL I'll keep in mind that there is some interest in vitro now and post more pics. |

Here are some of my blackies. The large ones are 1 inch and the smaller ones are 5/8. The ones in the first row have the pattern of blackies, but sometimes have other names. Some yellow jackets have this pattern, and people have even called the ones with a red band where the black usually is reddies. The white ones with black bands are sometimes called whities, but in the company literature they are called blackies. |

I know what you mean about collecting Vitro lol. When I decided that's what I wanted to collect I got more than a few "why's" saying they were so "last week" LMAO
I just love the color and variety. I also like and collect corks and have my share of pelts I won't part with but I only need 1 of each of what I don't collect and I'm happy, at least I can say I have one. The rest I sell to buy more Vitros lol. I am getting ready to sell some of the vitros that I have 12 million of the same one......need to make room.

Awesome boxes! These ones I cropped? I think they are one of the best looking Vitro marbles. And not to easy to find either. I think they should get a name. I've sold or given away all mine in the past.
