Bill,I love the bubbles! I have never seen a Blue and Green rainbow, except for yours! I have seen a Blue and yellow. So this is a treat!

You brought the "bubblie",to the marble party, wonderful marble. Does the base have some transparent brown or gold and clear?

It has a transparent amber twinkle pd:-)

Here's another pic of the one above. Then an opaque white base with bluezngreenz ribbons. Then another killer transparent rainbo that has both blue and green in the matrix with white ribbons. Charles has one like it, I let it go in a moment of weakness:-( Last, are a bunch of opaque bluezngreenz rainbo's... I love em and need to find a few more to fill out the box!!!

Bill....when you "backlight" on those pics and the ones in the "slag" post do you actually side light it? It looks like the light is shooting through the side of the marble and not from the back?

No, not from the side. I cut a tiny hole in a card board box and place the marble on the hole. I place one of my flashes under the box pointing straight up. Although, the camera is pointed at the marble at about a 70% angle about 5 to 7 inches away.....this is what may make it appear from the side to your eyes. The light is forced through the tiny hole and through the marble.

hey bill, someone had some of those first ones for sale on marble mental a while back. (wish i'd gotten one!!!)

they were identified at the time as Kokomos, and i was pretty comfortable with that ID.

what do you think?

The base glass resembles the bubbly rainbos that was my only reasoning. I'll leave it to the experts...... I just like pretty marbles and seem to have a weakness for bluezngreenz:-) So it's of little consequence too me:-)

Hey, EyE can drean can't eYe:-)

Are you going to Council Bluffs? The boys and I are going as usaul. They are bummed though, school starts the Thursday after the show.... Although, they are glad they get to end the summer with a marble show.
