windy, i think the word you're looking for is "bifurcated".
that kinda looks like one, although it could be that whatever is making it greenish on one side is not so much on the other side, if you know what i mean.
but i see what you're looking at and it could be one. i just can't tell from here for sure. |

That's the word I was looking for! Chris I know what your saying! I have never seen one before so I don't have anything to compare to. I have held it outside, and up to a light to see if I see something that would turn it green. But I don't see anything. Maybe I will take it to next show, that I can make it to! Thanks Tank! _________________ Always Looking For Marbles!

uh-ohh...kris, don't hate me, but yours look to me like they've just got a wide orange ribbon with some base color showing through.
maybe it's my monitor, but those don't look bifurcated from here... |

Could someone explain to me how that happens! I don't think I have heard why! Is it left over glass from the run before. Or run out of glass and add more? These are probably stupid questions! But I had to ask! LOL, Windy _________________ Always Looking For Marbles!

I am in the camp that sees the word as being misleading and misused....lol:-) Look it up and decide for yourself...lol Les and I used to argue about it. He said it didn't really matter that it's a branching out like on a tree, a "y" of sorts and not two equal or almost equal parts of a whole as in two halves.. I'd say, just go ahead and redifine whatever you want! He was great at it!!! He could sell swamp land:-) I miss those fun little word games we tried to one up each other with.... _________________ "art is the only lie that tells the truth" |

i'm right there with you, BT. it's kinda like the 'submarine' discussion, with it meaning a totally logical thing when applied to handmades, but a totally made up thing when applied to a specific pelt NLR.
galen, how are you using the term bifurcated? i'm seeing the same colors all over.
here's one of mine that fits the half & half definition:
kris, i'm looking on a different monitor now, and sorry, it still looks like that orange/brown bleed common to pelts here's one of your pics that wasn't showing up - is that blue showing through an air-pop?
(be careful how you answer...i might just show up at your house to see it in person ) |
