hey charles...not sure when they were made. i'll make a separate post and maybe a WV collector will know.

i've had my bag for several years - maybe since 2001? i got it from another collector at a show. not sure of its age at that time.

i don't doubt that you got yours from a reputable dealer. but that style does look "pelt"-ish, and if you or i were selling it (us being hard-core rainbo collectors), someone could say the same about us, even if we were selling in good faith, yanno?

wish i could remember who it was on lou's that posted a marble that was totally pelt, and jeff hale called it as one of the new MKs. i'd forgotten about them, and i had been certain that this marble was a pelt too, until he pointed it out and i "saw" what it really was.

the opal look on yours is what jumped out at me first, and made me go "hmmm...."

I go with tankgrrl, it looks like the MK that Lizzy posted in the previous post about newer MKs......even has the little swirl in the one patch. Same base too....how long ago arte "years"? Didn't someone mention that they were made about 2001? I have several blue and orange ones on a tranlucent base I will get some pics of....pax Jon
