I live in a small town where crime is almost unheard of. We had a car stolen 3-4 years ago. LOL Last week my neighbors house was robbed in broad daylight. It got me to thinking about my marbles. Does anybody have thier collection insured? I've heard of companys that specialize in collectibles but I'm not familar with them. Any thoughts?

Our homeowners insurance made a, "rider", for our collectibles and that includes the marbles. I must keep current records though. That includes images. Have been too busy to update it. Don't have many new ones but will update it when the weather here gets cold.

I've thougth about checking with my home owner insurance carrier. Galen do you use this company?

Yes I do. They are always very helpful and have good answers to all my questions. The coverage is very complete and no real inventory is even needed. I have pics of most of my collection just in case but they are not even a must. After having over $250,000 worth of antiques stolen and not being covered by homeowners I learned my lesson.
