Vitro "swirls" are bent patch or messed up patch-stripe marbles. As far as I know they didn't make typical swirls. The second marble may be Akro. Akro swirls are a subject of debate, but they did do them in the Ades and Oxbloods. The second one may have oxblood - on the surface and below. When Akro oxblood is beneath the surface it can look purple as in the pic below.

Those are beauties and definitely keepers!

The colors on both do remind me of Akro...............my brother has a number of "swirls" from the Akro digs. These are thought to be "errors" (really messed up corks/patches Wink) and not deliberate (since they haven't been found in original packaging). But that "theory/argument" hasn't convinced me yet.............since so many of their "Experimentals" aren't ever found in original packaging either.

Here's a swirl that seems to be Akro based on the colors, and the "eyelashes". 3/4". This was found wild, not dug. ... Roger

Would that top one be a Vacor Hurricane? Isn't that the color combo?

EDIT: I guess not --- I just went and checked one out. Should of looked before opening my mouth. Surprised

I can't see Akro on either of the first two? Rogers is Akro for sure.
