|
|
I got these four marbles together in the same group. 3 of them look like standard textbook Red Angels. The 4th one has much more white on the base and not as much yellow smeared/blended over the surface.
The construction seems the same but I am wondering if the 4th one would be a Red Angel. If not, what is it? It is in the Citrus / Tracer family for sure. Any ideas?
This is the marble in question:
Standard Red Angel:
Thanks for your input.
Craig
PS. Oh yeah...Hi everyone! |

hi craig!!
took me a few minutes to sort these out......your odd one did at first look to be an "anemic" red angel, and it felt like part of the same run.
but....now i have to wonder if someone just put them together thinking they were the same.
notice the red angels have 3 red ribbons each.
but your oddball looks like it wants to have 6 red ribbons (4 strong, and one or two weaker ones). it's made like those six-ribboned blue on whites, but with red instead. and then it has the addition of the yellow accents.
maybe kris will show the picture of her red & yellow tracer. i can't remember if it has that butter-yellow like these
anyway, i could be wrong, but i would consider the oddball a different marble, and not an angel variant. |

Chris,
I agree with the number of ribbons being different. Even the base glass is different. The group also had standard tracers in it. Blue, yellow and red ones. These are probably just one of the many types of citrus / tracer style marbles they made.
These look like a red tracer with yellow instead of white. Though sometimes the white runs next to the red ribbons on a tracer.
Cherry blossom sounds pretty good. I would like to see others if anyone has them.

Craig, That is exactly what mine does,.. the white blending to appear like a yellow. You have to look close to see it. Are you calling these the *Cherry Blossoms* ?
