I saw that marble--it is an eye catcher, but I've never seen an Akro like that. Reminds me of a Richard Beull marble. (I just got a 1 3/16 Buell marble that is bad ass!) I've bought from skorokid (however you spell it) a couple of times . . . once a bad transaction and he sent me a ton of marbles to make up for it. I ended up with one out of his last lot--looks like a cool popeye. We'll see, I guess. |

Good eye Chris and good save Lizzy.
seems like lily's mom is plenty happy..go figure
just kinda ball-park eye-ballin the "images with the ruler" in the auctions, the one in the first auction looks to be at or near 3/4" and the one in the current auction looks to be about 9/16"

And why anyone keeps sticking up for this seller is way beyond me.. All the excuses for his BS auctions are also absolutely rediculous IMO. He absolutely knows what he is selling and still refuses to acknowledge many of the polished marbles and cullet he sells for being what they are. This has been going on for years. _________________ Peace,Galen |

I'd say that it is 100% ground cullet. |

I wish Lily's mom could have read those before she bid... or paid and left feedback. _________________ Buddy ™ |

So, has anyone who's a regular with eBay reported this bogus marble and this particular individuals modus operandi? Seems as though he's been at it long enough to elevate it to criminal status. David Chamberlain |
