Okay, I got these Ebay marbles in the mail. I paid $9.99 for them. The description was sparse--bought from an estate sale 40 years ago and put in a box. Dime-sized for a measurement. No other info.

They are good looking to me! Anyone knows the type? I was thinking Pelts for at least 2 of them. Please punish me if am wrong. If I got ripped off, then I will punish myself also, and then my wife will really let me have it when she gets home.

They measure: all 5/8's

thanks again.

I will take some this evening. I was thinking some type of peacock? But that is just my greenness speaking.

Thanks for your reply

Here are a few more shots. The blue, which is diffinately there in the two thin windows, just wouldn't show themselfs via the camera.

Thanks for extra pics Doogle. I'd say all 4 of those are likely Peltier.

RE: name game - Pelts seem to carry a reputation for being "named" more so than marbles from other manufacturers, it can help some people visualize (and confuse others) and visa versa. That's why some people like to joke about it. Call it a peacock or Fred or whatever you like behind closed doors, but once out in the open it must subscribe to the strict rules of why it does or doesn't meet certain criteria to be considered a specific "named" type. It's often a very interesting discussion, actually, and most times informative too.
