Now here is a marble that I don't have a clue on. I liked the horsehair vein of oxblood that runs halfway around in a fairly noticeable vein, but the other half has another ultra-skinny vein of oxblood. There are bits of loose oxblood smeared over what seems to be a translucent clear area. Lots of thin veins of bluish that run from two cut seams. It is not really constructed like what I have seen to be good examples of sunbursts or starbursts. 5/8"s with a translucent v shaped window.
Because of the oxblood, maybe an Akro? _________________ Don't Tread On Me |

That would be some type of contaminant. Sometimes it forms sparkles like aventurine. Check it in the sun. _________________ Peace,Galen |

Okay, double checked, triple checked....still looks like oxblood. It is an unbroken thread without any type of crystaline properties.
At this point, I will toss it in with the unknown marbles until I learn more. I did look at some adventurine marbles under the full sunlight, and there is no doubt of its properties. Beautiful stuff, and a lot of the ground adventurine seems to have retained sharp, geometric shapes like squares and rectangles. At least on the marbles I looked at.
Thanks again, Galen. _________________ Don't Tread On Me |

The marble almost reminds me of a Vitro Conqueror type or similar patch type. |
