5/8" clear transparent base. Has a hole where the veneered glass burst? on the surface. The light blue opaque patch only covers about 1/4 of the surface. The transparent red runs 1/2 way around from seam to seam (or what I think are seams). This is a really beautiful marble. Very bright and intense colors. The clear base looks green-aqua, but I think it is clear. I haven't ran across anything on the marble sites that resembles it, at least to my eyes. Does someone know the maker and type?

Is this a newer marble?

I don't think its a newer one.
Looks like e Peltier multi colored rainbo.
Here is one,sometimes it's difficult to see the seams.

Gad zooks, thanks! This marble is so shiny (okay, wet) that I had doubts about its age. I have a bunch more (not the same type, but ones that are in such new looking condition). I am going to have to pay attention.
