That's a tough one - it really looks like an onionskin, but it is obviously from the later period, when they were not really trying to use two outer layers, and concentrated on the joseph coat construction. However, the use of only a few colours, and the way they are laid out really makes it look much more like an onionskin than like a joseph coat. So if someone feels it is necessary to have the two outer layers in order to be an onionskin - then its a joseph coat. But if someone feels that there have to be at least (say) 5 colours to be a joseph coat, then its an onionskin. Is it 9/16"? ... Roger |
