Don't forget the Pride of the Prairie show in Decatur on April 1st to the 3rd. A small show but fun with some nice walk-ins now and then. Art |

I started this by saying that it was a small show..... not this year!!
almost 30 rooms and some of the nicest and rarest marbles that you'll ever see.
And the economy didn't seem to affect sales. Some very hi-end marbles changed hands (unfortunately none of mine). Some from the recent Morphy auction.
Sorry, no pictures but maybe someone else will post some.
Thanks to Chuck Garrett for a great show. Art |

Hi Bob,
I have 3 digital cameras, good, better, and best... Wife thought I packed one, I thought she packed one no one packed a camera...
Nancy Frier took some photos of my mibs laid out on our bed 2nd day of room trading... Said she was adding it to an upcoming book... I think she was amused with the way the mibs looked... I had no type of display cases... All the mibs were in different size baggies and boxes... A truly "Redneck" display... Keep in mind, I didn't go to Decatur with the intention of selling marbles... I went down there to meet up with Chuck Garrett and a few others to identify mibs and categorize my collection... Still had a fantastic time, lots of really nice people... _________________ ...."Gene".... |
