Perhaps this a fine point about handmades, but ... Colored glass coreless swirls will normally have the striping glass take on a color from the base glass. So, for example, cornhusks and gooseberries are actually white striping on amber transparent, even though the stripes appear yellow (except sometimes at the pontil). But this one has a layer of clear glass casing over the white stripes, so they appear as white. I've seen this before on blue glass with bright white stripes. Below is a pic of a similar marble (15/16") which is cased in the same amber glass as the base. ... Roger
