well just got this almost pee wee ribbon core it is the colors of the german flag I thought I heard once they made these so it was given to people of dead soldiers ?? any ways . Mike

That's a really neat one, Mike.
Interesting story about these being given to the soldier's families. Wonder if anyone else has more info on that?

| The colors in that marble are the old German flag (Prussian flag). They were made around World War I for nationalistic purposes. |

Hi well very nice and I save the picture of the set . VERY NICE
so at least I was right about being a flag marble wonder if it was also given when a soldier died?? It is even hard to find any ribbon core 1 .3/8 I thought I bought one on the bay but the seller was wrong on the size and it turned out to be only 1 1/8 , he never gave me a reply . some times it makes me stay off the bay . Mike
