POSTING PICTURES
You must use your own off-site photo hosting service, like www.photobucket.com. AOL FTP doesn't seem to work here either. If you want to practice posting pictures you can go to the "Test Forum" (link below) and post there. Please not that the AOL browser doesn't work on this forum.

HELP US HELP YOU ID YOUR MARBLES!

Here are a few tips that will help you get the best responses when asking for help identifying your marbles:

1) If you have a large group of marbles and want a quick assessment of the age and/or value of your marbles, just post the clearest photograph of the group all together (including several views, if possible).

2) If you have a large group of marbles, but would like to identify each
marble, it’s best to post pictures of no more than 3 marbles (with several views of each) in a new topic.

3) Remember to check the size of your picture before posting. When they are appropriately sized, you’ll get a better response. If you need help with this, check out the “Picture Tutorial” in the URL link above.

4) Be patient and don’t always expect an immediate response. Many of the most knowledgeable collectors may only check in once every few days.

5) Don’t be surprised to get conflicting answers. Marble collecting isn’t an exact science, and we’re all still learning. Smile
