Roger and I got together for a trade session today and I had a chance to see these marbles inhand. There is nothing Euro about them once you get your hands on them. There is also nothing new about them either. Nice old glass. My first impression was Ravenswood. However if Ron is thinking Champion there is a 99% chance he is right. I don't know Ravenswood that well. They are not Jabo for sure.
I don't know Euro Machinemade Company names but have a feel for what comes from overseas. What was intresting was today when Roger and I were looking over various swirls, we could both pick out the Euro traits. Then when asked where a marble came from it was either from here in Canada or from overseas. That means nothing of course since marbles were sent all over the world. I will say we find nice swirlie whirlie marbles up here. |

It was a given that it was NOT Jabo when Roger said that he had these for twenty years.. I absolutely believe him that they were of old glass.

My first impression (bedfore I saw that Ron had opined) was Champion. That would be a thimble's worth of experience compared to Ron's 55-gallon drum's worth of knowledge.  But I thought I'd post anyway just to make myself feel good. LOL I'm brillant.
